Lots and lots of Democrats spewing talking points today. Big media lives up to its DNC affiliate role today.

Please tell me the Frenchman isn't on MTP for an entire hour.

He's talking about his foreign affairs experience. Don't think he's mentioned being in Vietnam yet (but I missed the first three minutes)!

Kerry on MTP: Much rhetoric, little substance. Just said that if elected he would go to the UN and turn over a new leaf in US-UN relations that strengthens US security.

Huh? Details. What exactly does that mean, John?

TR on MTP just read a bunch of quotes from Dems saying essentially the same thing about Kerry: Much rhetoric, little substance.

Kerry wants foreign troops in Iraq. Administration made a disastrous mistake not bringing UN into Iraq. Must take target off American troops.

yada yada yada

Tim: We tried going to the UN with Somalia mission and it didn't work. Kerry: There's the humanitarian component and the infrastructure component. He'd have the UN do something - I can't figure it out and can't type fast enough to see if anyone else can figure it out. IT IS NOT A CLEAR MESSAGE.

Kerry: "You go to that Wall in Washington (meaning the Vietnam Wall) and you see names of people who died because of false pride.

Every American should be angry at the administration for not having an end game and protecting our troops".

That's it - the Rats only game - make Americans mad at the administration.

"Look, this is serious stuff". No kidding. Using the word quagmire.

Here it is. Kerry: "As one of those troops who used to be on the ground,..." etc.

Took Kerry 15 minutes to mention his Vietnam experience.

Tim: We tried going to the UN with Somalia mission and it didn't work.

Ah, Tim...we tried going to the UN over Iraq---for 12 years---and that didn't work, either.

Tim: What if France, Germany, et al demand that we SHARE administration of Iraq...they want part of those oil contracts, construction, they want part of the government...if they demand that, what would you do.

Kerry: We should SHARE...SHARE....SHARE. We could leave an American commander in charge of American troops.
________________________________________

Well, Mr. French-looking candidate, does that mean you would allow U.N. control of OTHER troops? Divided leadership?!

Not only that, he keeps saying the No. 1 goal is to protect American troops. Well, we all want that, but it's not the main objective. The main objectives are to defeat the enemy and reconstruct the country.

He's not helping himself here.

His message is so unclear, I cannot figure it out. I'm not a rocket scientist, but can generally figure out political positions and I honestly cannot tell what position he takes on Iraq in terms of what he'd do differently.

"Took Kerry 15 minutes to mention his Vietnam experience."

Wow, 15 minutes? That's a first for Senator John F. Kerry (D-Vietnam).

I do think you are right - 15 minutes into an interview before mentioning his experience in Vietnam.

Kerry comes across so obnoxious. Everything is "I would do this; I would do that"...

"I'm running because I'm angry at the mismanagement". Yeah right.

Tim just called Kerry on his accusations against the administration.

Tim is showing Kerry on the floor of the Senate on 10/9/02 saying the exact same words as President Bush!
