I live 70 miles (and a world) north of L.A., including over a mountain range. If I wanted to watch L.A. television via air, it wouldn't come in. There are no local stations where I live. So that's why I qualify.
Lucky duck, I can get NYC channels/or wretched unfortunate, because this is where I live. You be the judge.

NO WONDER THE MUSIC INDUSTRY IS IN TROUBLE. And, further, did you notice that the cameraman had some weird film technique going on there that made the live show look like it was a drug trip?
The live show looked like it was kind of in slo-mo and heroin chic. Don't ask me how I'd know. That was ancient history.
I did not recognize Britney or Christina but recognized Madonna and MissyElliott acting like men. More lesbian action. And, all these people who are all about SEX, win an mtv award, first thing out of their mouth "I want to thank God." Well, then keep your clothes on and stop acting like a pinp or a ho so you ain't frontin.
After the girls kissed, I changed channels. Noticed who it was on the 2nd running. That grossed me out even more when I knew it was Christina & Britney. ewe!

Yes. Best Cinematography (for his video). It was a "Johnny Cash" award but he isn't the cinematographer. Good thing he didn't show up (I'd expect that in a situation like this, they would have told him in advance if he had won).
MTV would have gotten more out of him being there than he would have.
