Come one, come all -- comment on this year's freak show. It began with three sluts on stage in their underwear.

I thought that there already was a song called "Cry Me A River".
There was also a band call the New Bomb Turks.

Is it me or is Beyonce trying to rip off Jennifer Lopez?

I tried watching a bit of the debauchery, but started to feel sorta sick. I wanted to see if Johnny Cash would win, but now I'm back to listening to some Dylan.
I'm listening to some Uncle Tupelo and having fun reading this thread (with the occasional picture thrown in for visual reference).

She replied to 166. It appears to me she was complimenting you on your choice of words.
Who are you, my eye doctor? Ok, so I busted my glasses and didn't see that she was responding to post 166. So sue me! ;)

No, in general. The hair, the image, the slightly off-key singing, the booty obsession.. Yes, I was going to say if she's trying to copy Jennifer, she's doing Jennifer better than Jennifer.

I wonder if Britney has any idea where that 40 year old tongue has been? That's exactly what I was thinking! Ewww!!!!

I don't get the Evanescence appeal. I thought Goth was over? It's funny, but I'm drawn to their music, due to the vocalist. For the most part, I don't really care for their music, but there's something about her voice... To me, it's reminisant of Annie Haslam from Renissance, or Debra Holland from Animal Logic. All three of these ladies have very powerful voices. Of course, all three have VERY different styles as well.

LOL - maybe you are right. I like Beyonce's voice better. Or maybe I just have an aversion to J.Lo. The only thing she ever did that I liked was "The Wedding Planner", and that was because of Matthew McConaghey.
