I firmly believe that the government does need to do more, but that doesn't change the illegal action this group took nor the menace that they can be to citizens who have every right to be on those trails. I didn't doubt they would end up in trouble either, but only because I was pretty sure it wouldn't take them long to step beyond their authority as a citizen and do something illegal and dangerous.

I see both these situations being problematic, but I don't see much alternative at this time.  Citizens have been literally begging for an end to this situation, but the federal government allows it to continue.
