Glad I left 3 years ago when it was pretty evident this was the road they would be taking.

Of course not. It might mean it will split, again, though.
The question is, if the lines keep getting drawn in the sand, and the Episcopal church keeps breaking off into different segments, how long until it no longer is a church with a significant congregation?

To quote one of my favorite songs......
"The Lord in heaven laughs
He knows what is to come
While all the heads of state
Plan their big attacks
against His annointed ones"

U.S. Episcopal Leaders Approve Openly Gay BishopTue August 5, 2003 08:07 PM ET
MINNEAPOLIS (Reuters) - Episcopal bishops on Tuesday approved the church's first openly gay bishop after an investigation cleared him of 11th-hour allegations that he engaged in sexual misconduct.
Sixty-two of the 107 votes in the church's House of Bishops were in favor of New Hampshire Canon Gene Robinson, a decision that could threaten a schism in the global Anglican community.
A one-day church probe dismissed allegations that Robinson sexually harassed a parishioner or that he had anything to do with pornographic links to a Web site for a group he co-founded to help troubled teen-agers.
Robinson's conservative opponents have argued that his relationship with another man violated biblical scripture and warned they will walk out of the convention and split from the U.S. church.
Conservative Anglican bishops from Africa, Asia and Australia have said Robinson's appointment or the U.S. church's approval of a proposed liturgy allowing clergy to bless same-sex marriages will shatter the unity of the 77-million-member Anglican Communion

It's probably splitsville for the US and UK churches from most of the rest of the Anglican communion. I wonder if the US church will also split.

The Roman Catholic Church is ready to welcome all orthodox Episcopalians back into the true faith.

Yes, and the evangelical Presbyterians are too. :0

May Almighty God guide those who are - and those who will be - saved in Jesus Christ out from this Episcopal Church and into denominations where the wolves are encouraged to remain outside the flock.
Even for an outsider this is sad.
