Hillary arrived in Denver today for her booksigning and was treated to a cold reception from the Colorado FReepers and members of the Colorado Right To Life. "Shock and Awe" was what the Hillaroids faced when arriving at the Tattered Cover Book Store in Denver. They were not pleased.........

Our first FReep of the weekend was in Little Rock at the Sam's Club. We were unable to secure permission to be on the parking lot, however, the kool-aid drinkers had been herded inside anyway. We actually ended up with quite a conspicuaous location on a busy road where the entrance to the Sam's is also the entrance to the Walmart next door and we were there through the evening rush and beyond.
Present were FReepers DCBryan1, Budge (in his new motorized scooter embellished with American flags), stop_the_rats, nolu chan, sonofron, gogirlgo, Travelgirl, maxplunder (formerly Don Friovinai) as Bill Clinton, sweetliberty as Monica Lewinsky, lurker Ann, stop_the_rats' husband, and Chad, a friend of DCBryan1...

San Diego Chapter leader CyberAnt is in command at THAT FReep.Originally, we planned to have the LA Chapter join them for a COMBINED Southern California FReep - until we found out about the Hildabeast being on the "Tonight Show" - and re-arranged our manpower, so that we can do BOTH events!

Title of Event: Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton!At this time Warwick's can confirm the following details regarding this event:
Due to a very tight schedule, Senator Clinton will only be able to sign 900 books. There will be a limit of one book per customer. In order to accommodate the anticipated large turnout, this will be a first come, first served event, with no saving of places in line. To facilitate this we will be issuing wristbands, which will be necessary for admittance.
1. All books must be purchased at Warwick's on the day of the event. The Book Department will open at 7:30am for sales of Living History.
2. The procedure for getting a book and meeting Senator Clinton will be as follows:
a. Come into the store and pay for the book.
b. You will be given a voucher reflecting your purchase.
c. Join the line outside the building.
d. When your turn to meet the Senator comes, you'll hand your voucher to an event representative who will hand Senator Clinton the book. Once signed, the book will be handed to you.
For security reasons, you will be asked to approach the signing area empty-handed. Please leave bags, purses, and other items at home or in your car. No photography will be permitted and no additional items will be signed. Your cooperation with these procedures will help to ensure a smooth-running event. Details are subject to change. Please call the store or check our website for updated information!

Sounds like a fantastic opportunity for a Freep!Perhaps.
However, they would probably be able to edit the booing before the show is broadcast nationwide:(
But we MIGHT be able to "rattle her cage" in any event.At MINIMUM, she will not receive the warm and fuzzy welcome that she may be expecting.
While we may not actually "boo" her, we will also NOT be "warm and fuzzy." :o)Either way, I plan to be on the OUTSIDE team, and let Bob and dio react (and adapt) to circumstances as they develop on the INSIDE.
