[history]
LOS ANGELES, July 22 (UPI) -- Ozzy Osbourne says he will run as an independent to succeed Gov. Gray Davis as California's chief executive.
But the Los Angeles Times noted Osbourne may encounter some criticism over accusations he's a Satanist and animal torturer. During a concert he allegedly bit the head off a live bat. Recently, Osbourne has found fame in a reality television sitcom.

From the few things I have heard his son Jack say, I suspect Ozzy and the family are shockingly conservative despite appearances.
The problem would be, finding a translator to help the average voter understand what Ozzy is saying under the bleep outs. I wonder if Cali is ready for the Osbournes?

Sure, make fun of the Ozz-man, but be sure to tune in to Sharon's new program on Fox this fall! Interesting quick story: in my present gig, I am working customer service management for a national office supply store/call center. Last night, I sold furniture to Sharon's personal assistant, Liz, for the new show. :>

Hahaaa! No way dude, we'll mobilize every headbanging jackass(been one since 1970), and Sharon will kick total viking Ass!

Well, he's right. He could do a better job than Davis(or Riordan), or that Green Party Bum.
(Expletive) eh! You better (expletive) believe Ozzy would be a (expletive) better guv'nor than (expletive) Gray Davis or Dickie (expletive) Rear-end.
But McClintock still has my (expletive) vote nonetheless. :-)

I can see the people in the voting booths muttering to themselves, going Arnold Swarzenegg..Arnold Swezennegg...Ah, screw it. Ozzy!

Yes, this is true. Wonder if he's been naturalized yet. And he has to be a resident five years to qualify.
What? Since when? Wouldn't that disqualify your typical Demo'Rat politician?

During a concert he allegedly bit the head off a live bat. allegedly....? Yes he did...he has admitted so...whats allegedly mean....the reporter should try doing some research
To: Destro
This is perfect. Now all he's got to do is choose his future administration. I nominate Rob Zombie for Lt. Governor and Metallica for Sec. of State, State Auditor, Attorney General, and Adjutant General.
To: Destro
Wouldn't this have been more widely publicized if it were true? I mean, supposedly this press conference was July 22nd. The press would have eaten this up, yet there was nothing.
I need to see a video before I will believe it.

I have a couple questions for you. The two of you are in the mix out in California. California has the 5th largest economy in the world so what is the deal with your economic slow down. Do the politicos totally ignore the industrialists and financiers? Has the vast distance of the Left Coast has from Wall Street created a disconnect in the California economy? Or are the politicos, industrialists, and financiers rolling in so much cash that they don't care? Is it a combination of all the above? Just curious. I guess what I'm asking is who traditionally has been the main drivers of the California economy and what are these prime movers doing now that has caused such a change?

Someone here said Ozzy was an American citizen now, so maybe so!

I read that he thought it was a fake bat because someone threw it onstage during a concert.. an icky surprise.

He seems to be a very decent human being. He quit drugs long ago and I read an article about the workouts he does now to get in shape and he's probably in better shape than I am now and I'm only 25. He does shuffle around like an old man, but he's lived with a rough crowd and is an old man now. I really don't think he'd be too bad at the job. Of course Sharon would really do most of the work.
