If Rush said that, he should shut up. I can't think of any (ugh) Democrat I'd like better. Gee, In some ways Rush helped derail the first President Bush's campaign, and we ended up with (puking sound) Clinton.

Agreed. I love Rush, but his anti-Bush stuff is stupid. Does he seriously think a Dem would be better?

I don't think Rush had the same influence back in 92' as he has today.

If Rush still has his ESPN gig in the fall of 2004,expect him to really gin up his hammering of GW and moderate any criticism of the Democrats, to illustrate his neutrality. His football commentary will trump any desire to help President Bush.

I think it was Perot and his misguided minions (and a faltering, not-really-there Bush41) that gave us x42. In no way can you blame those 8 years on el Rushbo.

Geez, if you think Rush has that much "power" you are insulting every one of us that listen to his show.
I make up my own mind nyconse, you should try it.
I'm not afraid of debate and bringing up things I don't like with the Republicans I support. Only brain dead Democrats blindly follow their leaders into hell.
The fact that conservatives willingly and consitently challenge, debate, disagree and fight against our own when they are doing something some of us don't like shows strength, not weakness.
The Democrats demand blind loyalty to every position on their platform while every candidate shucks and jives to fall in line. How else do you explain the 180 degree turn in Joe Lieberman in 2000? Now that his credibility is gone he's trying to claw his way back to the center. Fat chance.
You don't even bother to mention 1992 and Pat Buchanan and Ross Perot. It's all Rush's fault. I'm rolling my eyes. Rush would wish he was that "powerful".
