You still don't get it do you? When TV normalizes gays, they have already won their agenda.

What agenda? What's normal? Show me the 'agenda' behind this Queer Eye. If you think homosexuality is not the normal sexual orientation that a minority of human beings have I agreee it's not normal. I don't think homosexuality is a lifestyle choice, but that homosexuality is an abnormality common in a certain percentage among human beings. I think its either caused by something in the brain either mental or related to the glands that regulate sexual desire and function. I don't see it a something you can be recruited to or decide to join on a whim as most of the gay bashers here claim. You are born gay or you are not. It's something inherent in your wiring, quite likely faulty wiring. I view it the same as any other disorder or illness that changes your personality.

I don't support gay marriage or civil unions but I also am discusted by paranoid bigots perpetuating the myth that all gays are out to get them. Are there some militant extemists gays out there trying to make the gay lifestyle more accepted within culture and society? Of course. Are they the majority of homosexuals out there? No. Just as there are extremists based on religion and race, these are the minority and not as prevelant as you imagine.

After reading this thread and another thread and after talking to my husband, I think I am going to have to agree with you.

I watched "Queer Eye" and I wasn't offended, but it does normalize gays and to some extent glamorize their lifestyle.

If the show didn't have the same name and didn't flaunt that the guys were gay, then I would be okay with it.

I guess we are talking about a slippery slope here. I don't care what someone does in the privacy of their own bedroom, but these days the "gay" agenda is being pushed down kids in schools. Gays are trying to change the laws to allow same sex marriages and for companies to provide benefits for same sex partners. No telling where this is going.

The bottom line is that I'm a Christian and homosexuality is against my religion. I also think that God has practical reasons for saying things are wrong. One of the reasons why I think God said it was wrong is because of the spread of disease.

I don't want anyone telling my kids that it is okay.
