I wouldn't disagree with one word of that.
I think the comparison of Kobe Bryant with Bill Clinton is beyond the pale, just as I believe that the person who insinuated that he didn't have the "right God" is beyond the pale.

Tell us what?
That:
men in general think they can harm women?

Actually I wrote "From the moment OJ was charged, THROUGH the slow speed chase, through the acquittal, I was convinced OJ was guilty."
So, although again we are revisiting something that happened what, then years ago, my post was quite clear that I had no problem believing OJ was guilty of murder. I also said I "was convinced", since in an existential sense I can "know" nothing beyond my personal experience, but I am willing to look at things and draw my own conclusions.

I wouldn't compare anybody to Bill Clinton, except maybe Hillary. Two peas in a pod.
And I agree, religion has no place in this argument.

Kobe, Kobe, Kobe, adultery is not a "mistake"; it is willful betrayal!
Too bad you waited until you blew everything to pieces to "fight for your family."

If this really piques anyone's interest, they need to get a life, and real soon.Exactly, use your time and my eyes for something important.

Where did I say it would affect the jury?
You said if it convicts an innocent man. Unless the trial is by a judge alone, then it's done by a jury. Discussion on a internet forum does not a conviction make.

That would be impossible of course, just pointing out the similarities.

Oh, I'm sorry I misunderstood; I didn't realize you wanted me to pretend that all the prospective jurors aren't watching the news tonight!

"and the DA has enough evidence to charge him with rape
No, the DA has a woman who is saying she was raped and he's putting it to a jury. That's ALL we know. "
Uh... That's exactly what I wrote.

I know that seems strange, but having heard even the worst lyrics, I've never heard a glorification of rape. Then you have never heard.

Oh, I'm sorry I misunderstood; I didn't realize you wanted me to pretend that all the prospective jurors aren't watching the news tonight! Well, they might be but I doubt they are all reading FR. So only things that are released by the news media can be discussed on FR. Don't worry. I doubt I will have any more inside information (mostly because it's unlikely there is anything more). But I won't ping you if I do get any more information. Wouldn't want to disturb you anymore. Just in case your selected for jury duty.

You are understanding correctly. From day one when the police contacted him. If he ever denied in public that no sex took place, then he lied and is in even bigger trouble. At least with his credibility. I think his words were to the effect "You know I would never do something like that". People were commenting on his parsing at the time.
What really gets me is how he was smiling and joking last night at the ESPY and talking heads were proclaiming how he could not be guilty and be having such a good time like that with his wife at his side.

"Now show me where Kobe Bryant has told anywhere near as many lies as Bill Clinton."
Not fair Howlin. He hasn't had a twenty year career yet.

At first the case looked like a setup by a golddigger, but the recently reported circumstances around the alleged assault make that less likely, namely the very brief elapsed time Bryant and the girl were together (a woman -- even a woman on a mission to collect semen for blackmail -- simply
does not agree to sexual relations within ten minutes of being alone with a strange man for the first time), the girl's immediate complaint about the assault, and the good reputation the girl enjoys among her friends and schoolmates.
It looks more like Bryant allowed a brief flirtation to escalate into an incident where he wouldn't take no for an answer.
