Read the rest of the response.
You stated that all athletes and all men think they can harm women. I can't think of a more outrageous statement on this thread.
Care to retract that blanket accusation, which implies that we are all secretly desirous of abuse or rape of women?

I won't call her a gold-digger, as such. I think it's more likely she was ashamed of what happened. Why should she be ashamed of being raped?

Well, they are bringing charges against Kobe so she's credible to the police. They haven't found any reason to dispute her claim (i.e. a friend she may have confessed a scam to hasn't popped up).

maybe in Kobe's eyes, the wife is gettin' a lil long in the tooth. Isnt she 20, 21, by now? Kobe might have been shoppin for a new model to replace the aging one. (in his eyes)

Kobe Bean?

I hope "if proven" the victim fares well and that he gets locked up for good. Gees!

I agree.
I will think of why it might be that she accused him IF he is innocent. BUt I will not directly or overtly say "gold-digger" or "slut."
Ultimately, he REALLY REALLY screwed up, even if all he did was cheat. This is exactly the kind of situation you DON'T put yourself into.
But some guys are morons.

Finally!! You can drop your claims of "objectivity!" Without a trial, you've decided he's guilty of rape.
I guess it should be obvious to you that my stance is that he is not guilty of rape. Therefore, she is not telling the entire truth, therefore she had the understandable reaction of being upset or angry over something he did or said(or that he was married.)

"These athletes and men in general think they can harm women"
Women have been taught for a long time that all men are abusive and women have no responsibility for themselves.
I hope that Kobe can get a fair trial in spite of these societal pressures. Stay strong Kobe, Stay strong man.
But on Google now, when hit with "Kobe Bryant" simply, comes up with us much "Rape" as it does "NBA". Amazing. Career shot, guilty or not guilty.

If I hear anything else from my source, I'll keep FR updated but it's kind of unlikely. Charges being brought against Kobe was the big story and now it's going to be a long drawn out ordeal.

I understand they're bringing charges, and it could have been consentual sex. Once the deed was done cry rape. She definately have his semen to prove something happened. Just the details are a little muddled.

I NEVER found it hard to believe that OJ was guilty, since the evidence was overwhelming that he was guilty. Furthermore, it immediately came out the OJ had a history of violence toward women. It's been two weeks now and not a peep that Kobe ever assaulted anyone else. I will wait until the evidence shows that Kobe RAPED her. And that has to be more than just DNA.

Is rap music printed on a rap sheet? I think its a requirement.

Sounds like the sour-grapes words of one who has been jilted one too many times -- or never had the opportunity to be jilted. So sad in any case.....
