I think it has to do with Murdoch going in front of Congress for expanded service. I think they're trying to be "more fair and balanced" - and are starting to tip the scales a little to the left.

Hard to figure........Murdoch endorsed McCain for President. He also put the infamous headline on the NY Post........BUSH KNEW......which the first witch carried to the floor of the senate.
