CUBE PEOPLE: Do yourself a favor and WATCH this speech on C-SPAN tonight.I am listening to Hannity playing it on delay. It's just beautiful, I am really without words, particularly with his closing comments. I can now tell why he and Bush have formed an unexpected partnership. They both believe in the human spirit and the quest for liberty.

I could be wrong, But I think Tony Snow was saying that speech was to remind Congress and the american people .. because they are .. well the Dems and the Press are telling the people to be
I don't think he ment to say that Tony Blair was telling Bush 43
Bush has not waivered since this all started and Tony of all people knows that

It will be re-run and you will never have felt more patriotic and more thankful that Blair and Bush are here together to save the world.I did see a small part about about Americans & freedom, but just as he launched into it & I started getting a a slight dampness around the eyes (allergies, you know), the phone rang AND someone came into my office. GRRRRRR......

That's just great! They get conservatives to turn to Fox News and then after we all do including pestering the heck out of cable companies to get Fox News Channel, they pull that stunt.
Well I can turn off Fox just the way I turned it on. I refuse to watch CNN for any length of time and only watch Joe Scarborough on MSNBC.
Guess mute is going to be my friend from now on so I can read the scrolling across the bottom of the screen. I will get my news right here!

I've had a busy afternoon... just popping back in here with my observation....
Anyone who listened to that speech without being moved has ice water in their veins!!
Thus, I note that Hillary looked BORED.

Thank you! I also write to Fox, but I write directly to Roger Ailes. You might not get a response from him, but you won't receive one of their standard blah, blah, blah's either!

There's nothing wrong with talking about reasonable care for the environment. Notice how he poked fun at people who want to increase gasoline taxes on Americans (likening them to prohibitionists of the last 19th century) and called for technologies to reduce emissions You are correct in that respect. Kyoto was signed in 97, at about the time of Blair gaining the Prime Ministership in Britain.
Yes I could be wrong in saying that Blair is all for Kyoto, since Kyoto was Al Gore's baby from the day he gained office of VP in 92.
I never liked Gore's Kyoto treaty and don't want it ever to the light of day again.

I'd bet Jon Corzine applauded the double tax on gasoline suggestion. What the hell, he can afford it. Or Patrick Kennedy, who 'never worked a f---ing day' in his life...

That's why I couldn't believe Tony Snow but why should I be surprised? He has done a lot of that lately -- getting his facts mixed up!
I heard the speech and I sure didn't hear Blair telling George not to go wobbly!

I think it has to do with Murdoch going in front of Congress for expanded service. I think they're trying to be "more fair and balanced" - and are starting to tip the scales a little to the left.

Lots of tears for me and a lump in my throat too.
Which is why I immediately turned off the TV when Blair began to leave the podium.
This could only be shared with Freepers.
