My daughter is 19 and a journalism student who took her course in Ethics in Journalism as a pre-journalism course in the spring semester and encouraged me to get involved in this thread once I was told CC was part of the media.

She was disgusted that someone in the media would put up this vanity thread and not reveal she was part of the media. And then expect all Freepers to know. My daughter agreed she asked leading questions like she was doing a story!

But then I guess my daughter's opinion would not count to some since she is conservative Republican and very much a Bush supporter.

Your daughter is MORE of a jounalist, than Crawford and better educated to boot!

CC, a relative newbie here, is NOT what she pretends to be. She writes out of both sides of her mouth on threads and then gets all upset, when refuted/called on what she writes.

CC is about as much a part of the media, as is the woman down the street from me, who writes a gardening column for the town's weekly little paper. The only thing is, my neighbor writes better stuff.

I think you ought to lay off this whole thing. At first I was one who tried to allay your fears, but it's clear that you have some motives that are not relevant to discussing politics or conservatism in general. How would you like it if your daughter were treated like this? You sounded the alarm on this young woman, and you got a host of other people to come in to ridicule her. I don't even know who Catheryn is, but I am appalled by what I see here. This has nothing to do with your love of country. It has to do with something else, and frankly, it's revolting.
