The hildebeast is running in 2004 if this attack and others like it begin to weaken this Presidency. The liberals want the next appointments to the SCOTUS. They also cannot take a chance that the economy and the stock market is booming in 2008. Remember that most of the liberal agenda has been achieved through the courts, instead of legislation. They know that they will never get what they really want unless they have the courts! The Constitution means nothing to them except when they need it to protect them!! We are in a battle for the soul of our nation and I am in the same camp as norms revenge.
1)The press-Dems not only forgot the 'reams and reams and reams' of documented evidence re. Iraq, they forgot the whole point of their profession: to inform. Did you know they have a "code of ethics"?
Or
2)They know and don't care. This means they are willing to risk the death of hundreds of thousands to WMDs in the hands of serious nutcase brainwashed hate-filled anti-Western losers for partisan power.
One more for the record:
Whereas Congress in the Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Iraq Resolution (Public Law 102-1) has authorized the President `to use United States Armed Forces pursuant to United Nations Security Council Resolution 678 (1990) in order to achieve implementation of Security Council Resolutions 660, 661, 662, 664, 665, 666, 667, 669, 670, 674, and 677';

My hat is off to Ann, she gets "it". :-)
....they're vulnerable on so many things, I'm sure we've got more fuel in the old flamethrower than they do............
NMC EXP:
I respectfully decline your request. The reason being that Liz's attempt to make this democrat only issue notwithstanding, the original article was non partisan.
The issue is non partisan. THe republicans are every bit as guilty as the democrats. I say a pox on both.
I suggest you remove your blinders.
=========================================================
And now your rebuttal of my assertion that this issue taints both parties is:
Thanks for supporting the DNC talking points.
That was a lame attempt.
Try this: How about George Shultz and Bechtel?
For the the rest of my buds here, the war is on and it ain't gonna be pretty. Let's get ready to annihilate these specious arguments.
You certainly called for a lot of help in your ping list. Not up to annihilating specious arguments while standing on your own hind legs without backup, huh?

They do. They really, really do.
Since when was this ever a measure of how well your government is serving you?........France doesn't like us, and neither does Kofi. So what.
Come on! We all know where this is comming from if it is their real plan.
It's comming straight from that red nosed, philandering, immoral, never worked a day in his life, draft dodging, over weight, out of shape, worthless piece of shit of a former president by the name of Bill Clinton.
He is the only person who would be willing to throw the whole country into chaos, if he could, to try to rehabilitate his sorry ass in the eyes of the public.
Lame attempt there as well, but I'll play the game, so here I am without back-up.
Let's go back to the question you never bothered to answer. You're plumbing is broken, basement flooded. You gonna call Acme plumbing across town just to show what a shining example of non-partisanship you are, or are you gonna call your best friend, who just happens to be a great plumber you can trust?
Bechtel is probably in the category of your best friend the plunber, notwithstanding Schultz's connection, if it still exists.
I fully realize this issue cuts both ways and I realize the "Creeping Fascism" article was non-partisan as well. Merely pointing out that this is war, and the other side plays a much more murderous game than we do.
Wanna let them win in the name of FAIR PLAY?

Makes one wonder if they might have had some ties to the democraps.
"Frreeper Letter Makes Talk Radio"
Might give you a little history on which party really got into bed with Enron during a certain Administration. Enjoy the reading, it might enlighten you.

I'll see if I can find out....it would be interesting.
Well, some common ground after all. People (both r & d) in positions to decide who gets nominated to join the country club or rebuild a country or sell missle technology to the ChiComs generally do these things for their friends and/or campaign contributors. Its just human nature.

You are stuck on this issue. Halliburton and Bechtel have nothing to do with defeating Iraq. They came after the fact to repair the destruction caused by the US ordnance used for the liberation of Iraq.
Ever heard Dwight D. Eisenhower's (republican) speech re: the "military-industrial complex"?

Wrong, or largely wrong. Iraq's O&G infrastructure WAS severely deteriorated PRIOR to the war from years of inaction and lack of upgrades and improvement. What do you think those contracts before the war, with Lukoil (Rusxia) and Total ElfFina (France) were partially about? Infrastructure improvment.
Bechtel is there mainly for general construction and electrical generation improvement, NOT to repair a ravaged country.
That was the most surgical war ever fought. As much damage was incurred by looting and general Iraqi rage after Sadam as was done by our bombing.
Ever heard Dwight D. Eisenhower's (republican) speech re: the "military-industrial complex"?
Yes I have, and I am not worried of his fears expressed therein.
