Stripperella?!?

A cartoon figure so curvaceous she makes Jessica Rabbit look like Olive Oyl, Stripperella brings new meaning to CRIME BUSTING. Her secret identity: exotic dancer Erotica Jones. Her not-so-secret identity: Pamela Anderson, who inspired Marvel Comics guru Stan Lee to create the pole-dancer-at-night, crime-fighter-later-at-night character she voices. With lie-detecting breasts and glass-cutting nipples, Stripperella puts the squeeze on supervillains like Queen Clitoris, a cyberterrorist who's ''not to be rubbed the wrong way.'' (Admits Anderson, ''There couldn't be any more innuendos in a half hour.'') The ''V.I.P.'' veteran persuaded fiancé Kid Rock to write the show's theme (''It wasn't hard -- I told him he was doing it'') and even works her pet cause into the scripts: ''Wherever I can stick in an animal rights message, I will.'' So is Stripperella all natural? ''She's been surgically enhanced, but she'll never tell,'' Anderson teases. ''She won't make the same mistake as me.''

Parents have the ability to lock their kids in a closet for a week as punishment. It doesn't mean that it's wise to do so. You know that "R" on that rating is supposed to stand for something. Have you forgotten what that is?

"It's no secret that children are attracted to cartoons. While I, as an adult, appeciate and enjoy some of the humor in shows like The Simpsons and South Park, some of the material is simply not appropriate for children. And if you want to use that flacid excuse that it's shown past children's bedtimes, ask yourself how many children you know that aren't intimately aware of the characters and storylines on South Park, which tries to cover itself with the same excuse.
I'm not trying to legislate anything by the way, just shaking my head at more of the putrid morality spewing from Hollywood. They are the ones who impose their morals (or lack of them) on us, pal, NOT the other way around"
I couldn't agree more... kids love cartoons and I do appreciate the adult humor in the Simpsons... but the mix... it forces kids to grow up beyond their years. If they watch it.

I am absolutely amazed that anyone wastes their time with this crap.
If, as the saying goes, "you become what you think about," what do people on a steady diet of Stripperella and Jerry Springer become?
To: SunStar
"Children are attracted to The Matrix and Terminator 3 as well... Those aren't animated. What's the excuse to complain there? Parents have the ability to take their children to see R-rated movies, or to disallow them to view them. Just like TV. Why complain about this?
"
My kids see commercials for the Matrix, etc., and to them it looks cool ... heck, here in Canada on the radio we have condom commercials !!! but that doesn't mean I'll be bringing them to see any movie they ask me to see.

I still think that Jessica Rabbit is hotter.

There's another show that looks like it might even be promising: GARY THE RAT starring Kelsey Grammer if I've spelled his name correctly which doesn't really matter cause he really
is a liberal 'RAT!
They were going to name the new channel SPIKE TV but Spike Lee sued and got an injunction. Personally, when I hear the name "Spike" I think of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I actually like the idea of this network as a "MAN'S PLACE" and I hope it will be politically incorrect as hell. Maybe they'll even put the "Man Show" on as well. It'll give the Dems fits because they'll have the choice to attack it and then pit themselves against the ACLU or not attack it and then the feminazis will howl. It should be rather fun to watch. PLUS, they already are running Star Trek TNG and The Highlander series, so it's got my vote.
Those of you out there worried about the kiddies can relax...I teach in a public high school and have for over 15 years...those innocent little kiddies are fully aware by the 6th grade and most are even sexually active to some degree by then. They would regard the tv controversy as a joke. What do they need tv for? They have the internet that is literally wide open. Those with really little kids ought to be watching those kids themselves.

she's a zero. This is a cartoon for feminist women not men. The purported agreement with anderson lee is pg material only. This is a yawner and to be avoided.
The idea of a network for men is a good idea. The problem is TNN (spike) is not for men. Its a bunch of madison avenue p**ftas who THINK real men want this stuff.
Where is the serious news for men? Where are the anti-pc series? no where.
Why would any straight man watch a fourth rate pseudo stripper spouting the same feminist crap on oxygenchannel?

I can't believe BET didn't take over the name.

I must have missed that. I remember "Fritz the Cat". I think I had the movie poster. Never saw the movie.

as far as I know, he doesn't... hey, what do I know, I'm in Canada! But no man that I know would watch a show like that. :)
To: Hillary's Lovely Legs
I realise they're animated cartoon characters, but...
Jessica looks like she likes men. Or at least male rabbits.
That other character looks like she hates the whole world in general, and straight men in particular.

Words fail me here. Sixth graders, sexually active? Where are there parents? Where is anyone who cares?
That is a monumental disaster, we are failing our children.
