In the interest of accuracy and honesty, I am posting this "correction" on this thread so that there will be NO confusion as to what Rush said on his show today.

Rush just said,,,,he doesn't care if the democrats are elected and it would be better because then the conservatives would hold them to account unlike Bush and his liberal democrat agenda.

As the would-be "victim" of this purported hoax, I can only say that there must be some sort of mistake. I know TLB. He would never mislead me. He knows that I've always relied on him for the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. I don't know what I'd do if I were discover that he had ever told me anything that wasn't strictly in accordance with the facts.

Please straighten out what must be nothing more than an unfortunate misunderstanding, TLB. ;-)

Way to go Howlin. I very seldom listen to Rush anymore, but no way would he have said what TLB said he did!

Guess TLB doesn't recognize sarcasm either when he hears it.

Any bets if TLB apologizes for misquoting his hero, Rush? If I were Rush, I wouldn't want hero worshipers that cannot get his comments right and spins to fit his Agenda. Now who does that sound like -- misquotes someone and spins to fit their own agenda?

Now we know where the troglodyes here are getting it from ... from old Rushbo; Rush, who hasn't be right about much since Newt got smeared and stopped telling him tales form " inside ", Rush, whose " prep work " consists of reading FR and repeating it, as fresh news days to a week later, Rush, who since marrying Marta, lost the fire in his belly, Rush, the impossible blowhard, who finally became what his worst enemies claimed he was; when he wasn't.

I can't listen to Rush on a regular basis anymore; haven't done for years now.Every once in a while, I'll put him on, but have to shut the radio off, within minutes, due to his egotism and enducing ennui. Today, TODAY, I put him on and heard the quote. I shook my head and wondered which thread he had been reading and which FREEPERs quoting, laughed and turned off the radio.
