We started off at our local B and N to pick up our copy of the new Harry Potter book, and after adjusting the display a little, headed down to Larkspur.
Treason seemed much more at home on that shelf.
After doing our work in Larkspur, we started looking for directions to Book Passage. What better place than a little resturant to have a beer on a hot day like this.
I asked a nice couple there if they knew where the book store was, and it turns out they are friends with the owner. And apparantly they are the only conservative couple in Marin County!
They were more than happy to help fix the cover of our Harry Potter book so we could have Hilliary sign it.
The three of us agreed that if Hilliary would change her last name to Potter and wear those nifty brown glasses her book sales would skyrocked up into the double digits.
They introduced us to the owner of the resturant, a nice Korean man. He used to be the Mayor, and is now on the city council.
Their beer list was short and as it turned out, they only had Corona...with lemon. Wanting to experience other cultures, we found it quite refreshing.
We arrived a couple of hours before Hilliary was scheduled to arrive and talked to the milling crowds. We were told that Hilliary was going to pull up at 4:00 PM and come right past them and into the store through the front door.
I pointed out to them that she was always late and that she (as her husband did also) always uses the back door.
One gentleman asked, "They have a back door." I was able to assure him that the Clintons don't go anywhere that does not have a way for them to sneak in and out with out having to mix any of the "little people"
(Ok, yea we did get some strange looks...)
The rules were clearly posted outside and with much artistic flare:
Well, there went our plan to have our Harry Potter book signed.
While milling around the store, we found two copies of Treason. On a back shelf.
But the sales lady pointed out to us that they had more:
I then ran into a political consultant and activist I hadn't seen for a couple of years, and she took the two copies off the shelf and properly displayed them on a table right inside the front door.
One of them made it's way over here:
Notice the demeanor of the people that want her book...
Needless to say, the "guard" at the front door (male of female, I couldn't tell) spotted Coulter's book after about 20 minutes, and disposed of it.

There was a welcoming commitee across the street. When we asked a Police Officer if he would arrest people for jaywalking, he said he was too busy...BUT, if any one got run over he would write a ticket and put it in their back pocket.
Back on the other side, a small group asked us what those signs meant.
They were suprised to learn that Bill Clinton had a history of raping and groping women, and they listened with quite a bit of interest.
People actually started arriving here at 3:30 AM!
We mentioned to several people how Hilliary must have hired the Dixie Chick's Airbrush Artist as her picture looked so good. Most of them actually knew about the Dixie Chick thing, it suprised us. One man who we asked to compare the picture on the book with the one we had said well she looked so tired because she worked so hard in the Senate.
He stared at the picture on his book and said she is a good looking woman for 50 something, so I suggested taking a good look at her when she hands him back a pre-signed book. (Can you get cramps from using a rubber stamp?)

When Hilliary finally arrived (yes a half hour late) she was rushed in the back door.
Fortunately the door stayed open, and if you look closely you can see her little head at the table under the picture of...well I guess a composite of her ghost writers?
It didn't take them long to realize that the "little people" were pouring in, soooo
Everyone was pushed out.
The looks on the faces of these people is so sad:
They love her sooo much, and she treats them like that.
A photographer from the SF Cronicle took a picture of our book and did a little interview but tomorrow is Sunday...where would they put that in the Funnies??
Well, on a last note when she left she asked us to fly with her to LA, but we graciously declined; how could we top Dennis Miller as a Planemate?

Ohhhh, This is Great.
Hillary Clinton should be embarressed. A conservative book is at #2 and she is, well who knows where now.
I think this speaks volumes for our country.

At our local B&N, Hillary!s book was on the shelf, three abreast, Ann's book was in a stack on the floor at the the end of the aisle.
We took two of Ann's books and put them in front of two of Hillary!s - bookending Hillary! by Treason.
Makes quite a nice display, and last time I looked it was still there.
I recommend it to others.

By the way, I think that picture of Hillary was taken on her FIRST day in the Senate.

Well, Dr. Zoo, it looks as though you are making a 'Zoo' out of things for poor Hellery! Rod-ham Clinton. Perhaps her brother should write some books, "How to Sell Pardons to Crack Dealers", and "Why I Want My Sister to be Prez".

My question has always been,"WHO the HELL is paying for her
to be flying around the country, doing personal book signings?
How much is this costing us for the security, including the local law enforcment
agencies that have to supply traffic/crowd control??
Is all this included in the daily routine of a Senator, especially
a Senator from New York, going to Chicago, and Calif......this really stinks

Sounds like fun. Great pictures. I particularly liked the creative work with "Treason". What a paranoid b*tch Hillary is! Truth is her enemy.

Bet the publisher's paying for at least some of the display space in the stores, too.
Great work Dr. Zoo & company.

Yeah, but he was a Republican. But no matter, I think Hilliary! has really shot herself in the foot with this book.

I just checked out the fine arts supplement of the Houston Chronicle of Zest that lists Ny Times best seller list. Hillary's book is #1. What an eye opener that was without my coffee, lol. Anyway, Ann Coulter's book was noted listed at all. How many books have the DNC and unions and democrats bought to make this happen? One wonders,
Brad
To: bradactor
Wonder, too, about how those lists are compiled. Even if they're using Nielsen's Bookscan, I'm not so sure that the numbers can't be jiggered.

I also noticed, at the local B&N here (Champaign, IL), that Lying History is one of those books which gets a 30% discount (think B&N does that for all their top sellers), while Treason doesn't, at least yet. Go figure.
