I love this graphic. Wanted it included in the thread:
This is the artwork Mark A. Conroy, retired Gunnery Sergeant (E-7), USMC.
Mark enlisted in the Marine Corps at the age of 17. He served two tours in Vietnam, two tours in Beirut, and finished his 21 years in the Marine Corps after serving in the Gulf War at the rank of E-7. He was a machine gunner in Vietnam (first tour with the infantry, second as the door gunner on a helicopter). He was an interrogator-translator in Beirut (Arabic linguist), and was there when our barracks were bombed. He has 4 purple hearts, a Bronze Star with 'V', the Distinguished Flying Cross, and a chest full of other medals
I just love that graphic!
