Oh sheesh! Now I feel silly... I'm not looking for sympathy and I certainly didn't mean to come across as a "woe is me" persona. I think I'm pretty well adjusted considering, but I dread reading about things that will affect me WORSE than the average Joe. ;) Thank you for your initial post, and this one most of all. Prayers and friendship to you as well! :) Take care!!!!

We are becoming allergic to the Earth. ROTFLMAO. Time for an Al Gore book sequel! I wonder if Hillary's ghostwriters are available.

There were a couple of cruise ship illness incidents recently on a liner that travels the Inside Passage to Alaska. IIRC, the same ship had some sick passengers one trip, was disinfected, then had sick people the next time out as well.
And a couple of months ago, this same "hotel" thing happened to some people at a hotel in Reno who were there for a girl's volleyball tournament. Should be a FR thread on that one if anyone cares to look.

Uhm, their bodies will. Or you think you can take your physical body right on into heaven with your money?

One could don his tinfoil hat this morning and note the Herndon connection where the muslim "charities" have been under investigation by the FBI. [insert Twilight Zone music here]
http://www.wtopnews.com/index.php?sid=83171&nid=25 Dozens Sickened at Area Hyatt
Updated: Friday, Jun. 6, 2003 - 12:07 AM EDT.
Herndon, Va. -- The Hyatt Hotel in Herndon has been shut down for the weekend after 60 guests became ill.
Officials with the state Health Department believe it's the Norovirus, similar to the one that sickened passengers on several cruise ships earlier this year.
The virus causes nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps and diarrhea and usually lasts 12 to 60 hours. Most people become sick within 24 to 48 hours after being exposed.
The Health Department and the hotel are working together to thoroughly disinfect the building and officials at the Hyatt hope to reopen on Monday.
Guests at the hotel who aren't ill have been asked to go home or have been transferred to another Hyatt Hotel in Reston.

Are you aware that infected people continue to shed the virus for 3 days to 2 weeks after they recover?

We are going to explore the Rapture on Sunday. Any ideas about what we can use as a starting point for the thread?
To: TaxRelief
No, I haven't been following the virus stories at all. Thanks for the info.

"Fess up, xs. Have you been moonlighting as a cook at the Dulles Hyatt?"
Now by cook, CJ, do you mean someone who merely opens the styrofoam containers of "food" already prepared and delivered? In that case, the term may indeed apply to XS.
Or, a secondary definition, suitable only for her, would be someone who supplies food in its raw form to be prepared by guests to whom she has extended a dinner invitation. :))

I'll attest to that...nearly killed my daughter last fall (kid who sat behind her went on a Disney cruise.)She developed atypical pneumonia(***ding ding ding SARS comparison) and then a severe asthma attack in the ER of the children's hospital. She never had asthma before.

I heard on the radio this morning that the Dulles Hyatt has already reopened, after a thorough cleaning.
To: CholeraJoe
you didn't get sick on my cooking, ya jagoff! how dare you!!

You might be interested in some of the similar observations made in another topic:

Isn't it interesting how this observation is sort of "popping up" all over the place lateley?
I hope that you find a fellowship in which the Holy Spirit can really nurture and empower you in preparation for your Calling, as I intuitively sense that you are already in proccess for.
In the meantime, I would humbly suggest that you take up and read the Bible as time permits and the Spirit leads. It will open up things deep inside of you that you may not now realize even exist. That has been the experience of many a Pilgrim, myself included.
I love the Old King James, but for those not familiar with the 1611 version of the English Language, the New International Version is a good study translation in contemporary English, IMHO. Then when you have a pretty good intellectual grasp on a particular portion, go back and read it in the KJV for real old-time Spiritual "Shock and Awe"!

You must either limit the number of guests you invite or have a kitchen as large at Madison Square Garden.
