Before we all get too complacent that the reason nothing has happened in the US since 9/11/2001, let's keep in mind:

A. Al Qaeda takes years to plan and execute things. The first WTC attack, OKC bombing, USS Cole, 9/11... all were well over a year apart. Nothing has happened YET, but it hasn't been very long since 9/11 in an Al Qaeda timeframe.

B. Bin Ladin is a multi-tasker. They specifically talk about 9 separate terrorist plots in the works, ongoing, and completely isolated from each other - such that if we capture one cell, those terrorists don't know any of the players or the plans of the other cells.

C. James Uujama was indicted recently. He is accused of, but not specifically indicted for, attempting to purchase a ranch in remote southern Oregon (sagebrush country) to establish a TERRORIST TRAINING CAMP.

D. Al Qaeda mentions the use of "Lily Whites" - these are people who have NO criminal background whatsoever, so there would be no reason to suspect them of anything prior to their act of terror. This is to include American citizens, if possible (such as McVeigh; John Walker Lindh; etc.)

In other words, it ain't over 'till it's over.
