Just where did I say I wanted to kill abortionists? You didn't. Anywhere.
Once they get into the habit of ignoring the truth, eventually their minds learn to fill the void with lies. That's what's at work here.

This is a crucible and we're getting an eyeful.

I know that. However, I was trying not to alienate the person I was having the discussion with before we actually had a conversation.

Something tells me Arne wasn't in the North Carolina mountains looking for Rudolph.
I don't know whether to admire Rudolph for his ability to evade authorities or condemn authorities because they couldn't nab him. But that's a side issue....

Fair enough, you seem of good will. I do not think it is right of me, or by extension, the State, to force a woman, against her own will, to carry and bear a child she does not want. Pregnancy, after all, is a long and sometimes dangerous process, and I cannot IMAGINE giving any government the power to compel anyone to go through it. An adult human owns at least their own body.
I'm not absolutist about it...minor children should have to notify their parents and recieve consent as they would for any invasive procedure. And the concept of partial birth abortion truly horrifies me.
I cannot imagine, however, a more statist approach to this issue than wishing for the police power of the government to be brought to bear...to force a birth. The concept of a state having that kind of power horrifies me as well.

No, which is why I too support the death penalty. In fact, it should be more frequently applied, IMHO.

Yep...pro-choice was a cammo word invented by the infanticide brigades and propagated by their accomplices in the media.
Sort of like calling killing a sick pet...."putting them to sleep"...it simply sounds better but it ain't sleep is it...at least not the kind you and I favor.
....and neither is "choice".

I read every thread on Rudolph, I don't remember anyone attaching hero-status on him; many posters were impressed by his elusiveness and less impressive with the fed's investigative skills.I had quite a verbal donnybrook a couple of years back with one poster who suggested that Rudolph deserved support from other abortion opponents, and that if he came across Rudolph, he wouldn't turn him in. He took exception to my saying that despite my hatred for abortion, I wouldn't waste a second calling the FBI.

So, your solution would be to legalize all form of abortion? Where would you draw the line?
To: Cathryn Crawford
You mean are you pro-life or pro-choiceaborticide.
There are no moderates in this debate, as hard as they try...

Are you capable of differentiating between killing and murdering? Never mind...

LOL! I can empathize with that sentiment. Surely forgiving him would be better for you and your family; maybe even him. And if he crosses the line again; well, don't even take the chance of letting him.

Eric Rudolph, if convicted of the bombings, is likely derranged. I still don't believe that should preclude the death penalty for him. There are some peopole who are too dangerous, even if derranged, to allow them to continue to live. I wonder, how many prisons are built on or near geological fault lines?
