My dad went for the Grandfather area and it was free for me so I'm not whining.
Lots of folks from my homestate of Mississippi hang in Highlands.
In Grandfather, in the summer the big draw is South Florida Jews and some folks from The Piedmont and Charlotte.....Jacksonville too.

"Nobody said he didn't. I'm not saying Rudolph didn't do the things he is suspected of, but that there are other possibilities. People on this forum are convicting him before he even goes to trial! Is this America or not? Does the Bill or Rights exist? Does he not receive a fair trial? Oh, the FBI says he did it, so he MUST be guilty. After all, they NEVER make mistakes, do they? "
If you spend much time at all on here you will see that anyone who is charged of a crime that hits news get's charged as guilty or innocent by Freepers before trial. That is where debate comes in. It's fun to politely debate the issue for and against a person until the actual trial takes place and we see the result. No one is forced to participate int he debates and everyone is allowed to have an opinion on guilty/notguilty judging by what they've read. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that since there is little chance the jury is going to consult this forum when making their guilty/nonguilty judgement.
Long story short: we aren't the judge or jury so we can call him guilty or innocent as much as we want and defend it which whatever we can.

Don't know much about them aside from the "Halls".

Good luck.

One man's terrorist is another man's crusader That doesn't ensure both comments are of equal validity.
He is either innocent or he is a terrorist. There's no crusader fit here.

I really don't support this guy, I absolutely hate the Christian Identity teaching. I am really not supporting his actions, but I wonder what really should be done.? Just because slavery, or genicide are legal in some places doesn't make it right to do nothing.
What would our founding fathers have done? They went to war with their own government over much less than the slaughter of precious children.They were not the majority, but only a small number.
What should have the Germans citizens done?
Please answer these 2 questions if you would?
To: honeygrl
the guy was wrong to kill people if they prove he also bombed places other than abortion clinics (one in which an innocent cop was killed from what I've been reading) I'm not ambivalent about that as you just so well stated.

It was intended as a platitude or a cliche Arnie...not a mantra.

Long story short: we aren't the judge or jury so we can call him guilty or innocent as much as we want and defend it which whatever we can. We can call him guilty or innocent BECAUSE we aren't the judge or jury.
The guy's been a fugitive from several highly profiled terrorist/murder indictments for 8 years. This is a tough one. He's guilty.

I know what you are saying. Defending CI or the killing of noncombatants in any conflict is tough going morally.
To: wardaddy
I have been in as heated debates as this on FR with people who bad mouthing Jews.
I have several issues, Life is just the most important to me. You can't have liberty without life first.

~~~In this case, I think I'm going to be a follower and do what you just said as well. When the pro-life movement turns to terrorism as a way to solve the problem, I won't have any part of it. Keep the fight legal.~~~
Add me to that list!
Sorry, this guy has always bugged me. Ambush bombs. He's a cold blooded coward. Seven years he's run and hid and who knows what else. Any Blue Ridge locals missing?
I'm pro life. I would use any means to stop you from murdering my countrymates by hiding a bomb at a festive gathering or in an Abortion Clinic parking lot. Any means.
To: mountaineer
I just checked two such forums.. How can you do that? Your nick implies that you spend a lot of time in the clean, fresh air of the mountains. How can you come back from that and then stalk around in the dank, smelly and unhealthy grounds of rejected Freepers?
To: Catspaw
However, if you want to glorify Rudolph because he bombed abortion clinics, go right ahead.
There you go again. You are so full of crap.
I think he should be tried and if convicted penalized with the harshest penalty available, including capital punishment if applicable.
Just because the original poster pointed out the hypocrisy of the bib deal made over this one murderous SOB when thousands of innocents are "legally" murdered in the womb daily does not mean he was glorifying Rudolf.
He was simply pointing out the insidious hypocrisy of those who think someone like Rudolf is somehow worse than an abortionist.
Rudolf murdered two, illegally. Abortionists murder thousands, but "legally."
Both are scum deserving of the harshest condemnation of society and the maximum sentence of the courts.
Funny thing -- the most "fanatic" devotees of political terrorism, who left 60 million dead in the 20th century, were ATHEISTS (communists). That stat coms from the "Black Book of Communism" by the way... So what's your point? Atheists did it so it's okay if religious fanatics do it too? Is this another version of the "everyone does it" defense?
One is performing a legal medical procedure, and the other is a cold blooded, ambush murderer.
That's an act of terror. You kill innocent Americans, you choose death. That'll give you vicarious martyrs a stiffy.
To: ArneFufkin
Killing Jews was legal too, were Americans right to intervere?
