Good for you... I have news though... It'll never be the way you want it to be... and until then to uphold the integrity of the law... you need to respect it even if you don't agree with it...

uphold the integrity of the law... you need to respect it even if you don't agree with it... Romans 13:1
The law that allows murder has no integrety!
I think our founding fathers knew that scripture when they went extreme over taxes. What would they have done over 4000 babies being murdered a day.

" I will not condemn one that risk his own life for the cause of life, while the rest of us pretend we are getting somewhere after 30 years has gone by."
So you don't condemn this guy for bombing abortion clinics?

"And quite possibly guilty of criminal conspiracy..." Last I knew, harboring a fugitive was a felony.

I read every thread on Rudolph, I don't remember anyone attaching hero-status on himThere have been a couple, the usual one-half of one-percent. Akin to the number of posters on D.U. who openly wish for someone to assassinate President Bush. It happens in every walk of life, people get over-zealous, they go nutty, they cross the line.
Of course the pro-aborts will zoom in on the small handful of Rudolph apologists, because they're trying to stigmatize FReepers in general (because they're overwhelmingly Pro Life). You had to know they were going to do this all along, the Rudolph story was bound to resurface sometime. And painting Pro-Lifers as whacked-out-Jesus-freak-terrorists has been their M.O. for as long as there's been a public debate on the issue.

You know what makes this whole thing so silly? The issue of abortion has absolutely nothing to do with what Rudolph did...
To: Kevin Curry
THey would not be complicit unless they reconized Rudolf.
If other ordinary citizens knew it was Rudolf and took no action, of course they were complicit in his escape as well.

Set me straight, what did he do?
To: Delphinium
Are we any different than those who stood by and allowed the Jews to be murdered? No, we're worse. We have no Gestapo/SA/SS hunting us down.
To: Delphinium
Yeah, it takes a lot of courage to bomb innocent people. How courageous! I've never been so sickened to be a member of FreeRepublic as I have after reading some of the idiocy posted on this thread today.

If he bombed innocent people, I agree with you. I don't just don't trust the Janet Reno FBI.

"I have read over this thread. Are you suggesting that anyone who opposes attacking abortion clinics or doctors is pro-abortion?"No.
If not, then why were you asking people if they are pro-abortion or not, and why were you trying to spin their answers of "I am against abortion" to mean "oh you are one of those who are personally against abortion but for a woman's right to choose"?
Are you asking this question in the capacity of an admin moderator? If so, are you saying that I'm not allowed to ask people on this forum what their views on abortion are? If it is unclear to me what a person's position is I will ask them. I find it rather odd that you are addressing me personally. If I have broken the rules of this forum please address the specific infraction.
"You may want to look at my post to rebel above. Thanks, AM"
I've looked at it, and don't see how it relates to me. Is there anything specific you'd like me to respond to?

A police officer was killed in the explosion.
Was he innocent? he was protecting murderers. Was his life more important than the other 4000 children killed that day?
To: Sandy
God forbid someone go to work at a legal profession, and then suffer the kind of horrific injuries this woman has! Clearly, someone who would speak in such a reasoned and calm manner after suffering said injuries (as in post 326) is obviously a ghoul. The nerve of her, to actually think she might be helping women that find themselves in a difficult situation!

Bombing those people makes him NO better than the ones having or performing the abortions.
To: marajade
You know what makes this whole thing so silly? The issue of abortion has absolutely nothing to do with what Rudolph did...Except that Rudolph targeted an abortion mill, and in the process, prevented a number of murders from occurring (at least at that location) and murdered an innocent man himself.
It's not so much about the issue of abortion, but what to do about the continued execution of more than a million children per year. Some of us argue that Rudolph's methods were deranged and harmful to the cause. Others point out that such actions are historically precedented and entirely warranted.
Maybe when its gets to the point where I believe Civil War is the only solution, I'll agree with the latter. But I still believe in the system and the effectiveness of the Pro Life movement, so I'm not there yet.
