You're probably right. He's not going to get a fair trial. Same as McVeigh.Apparently not if you're on the jury. Conservatives used to believe there were important distinctions between accused and convicted and that a person was considered innocent until proven guilty. Apparently I'm behind the times. You don't happen to be related to Chris Braga do you?

I agree with you bro. I'm pro-life but terrorism is not the answer. Unfortunately a lot of conservatives lend credence to the stereotypes liberals give us.

well you should count your lucky stars that you were not in the wrong place at the wrong time, or you could say that about yourself.
You are saying that you KNOW 100% FOR A FACT that he is a "terrorist". If you do, then you know a whole lot more than the rest of us. WERE YOU THERE? HOW DO YOU KNOW SO MUCH? Hummmm maybe we should question you.
To: PenguinWry
I wonder if it is not strange that you and the other poster I replied to earlier, who have no information of yourselves. Things that make you go HUMMMMM.

U.S. to Try Bomb Suspect First in Alabama. Hmmm, I wonder why Rudolph's going to be tried first in Alabama, when (if you count the Olympic Park bombing) he killed as many people in Georgia, and set off several more bombs in that state. It looks to me like a confession of the weakness of the case linking him to the Olympic Park bombing.
I was very interested to hear all those leftists over the weekend calling for the execution of Rudolph, and forgetting all their objections to the death penalty.

I believe the president's executive order only calls for putting non-citizens before military tribunals.

BTW penguin, do you think every person accused of a terrorist act, (thousands per day even on a domestic level) should be brought before a military tribune? They would be very busy I must say.
You have believed the hype of the media my friend. I have a rule: DON'T BELIEVE ANYTHING YOU SEE ON TV and only half of what you hear on the radio.
Eric R. may well have done one or more of the crimes he has been arrested for, but until he gets a fair trial, I would not assume anything.

Via letters? Interesting. I'll bet someone wishing to finally put a face to the crimes would do anything, including forgery to pin this on anyone in order to say "we got em"
I have yet to see any HARD evidence.

YOu do not seem to understand how our legal system works.

perhaps it will come out in the TRIAL.

The courts have upheld keeping citizens in military detention as enemy combatants. If you look at the court decisions, the wartime conditions of their capture played a large part in the courts' decisions.
Putting citizens before a military tribunal for trial is a different issue. And the president's executive order does not call for it.
May I ask why you think it is so important to treat identically domestic terrorists and terrorists associated with foreign organizations at war with us?

I have not forgotten nor ever will 911. It is funny you mention that because I think the ones responsible for that may well also have bombed the olympic park and more.
