We don't have outside TV broadcast in this house. Haven't had it for 11 years. It's wonderful to not have it. I come to Free Republic to read about REAL news and then suddenly, lots of soap-opera like coverage of the Peterson case. I don't read it, am not going to start, and am bumping this thread.

If the man killed his wife and child (from the headlines, I presume that is the indication), then he should suffer the death penalty. It is for the courts to decide and I don't want to read about individuals who do, may, or may not live that way. Thank all of you for understanding.

A tragedy for the family, to be sure, but NOT a national news story. I have stopped watching any program except Brit Hume, that is about the only one that doesn't cover it on a daily basis. I was sick of it a week after it hit the channels.
