not that I am aware of any future date yet. See the link on my post #15, to today's issues.

"me thinks all these docs on the Jan 20th? phone taps leaks came from the Defense..."Why would the defense leak this tap: "No, but I know who did it and I'll tell you later when I see you.."

to make the potential jury pool become unsensitive and the already guilt by association since the events occurred, and since scaughty did his interviews starting first with Diane Sawyer of GMA, and then the rest was history from scaughty's behavior and refusal to fully cooperate with the police and Rocha's..... So, if you read the court doc I posted #15, then you will know that the excerpts didn't come from DA or MPD, just what they stated, (in my opinion), all these far-out stories you have been hearing have been a defense ploy to mix the media to report to the National masses, the "how could this young all american, good looking man, off his pregnant wife Laci?
All coming in most respects, from the defense team! ;o)

I've often wondered about the reasoning behind....delayed television coverage. It's OK to view it AFTER the hearing, but NOT live. Makes no sense to me.

Well, if it is from the defense, it's too little, too late IMHO. I think the damage already done to Scaughty's defense (and I love your spelling of his name) is irreversible.

Good morning RB and all. This a.m. on the local am radio news they stated that Scaughty's defense team was going to ask for a change of venue today (but using my FR knowledge I know that in California they bring in a jury from another local...not move the trial...but I digress). Will keep checking in here...what time does the trial start Pacific time?

That makes sense.....although I didn't realize that the 'feed' was, or could be edited. I thought we saw the entire proceeding. Although that was pure assumption on my part too. So your guess could be exactly right.

The trial doesn't begin any time soon. Scott Peterson will appear in court today at 11:30am ET though.

"(but using my FR knowledge I know that in California they bring in a jury from another local...not move the trial...but I digress).I am not sure what FR knowledge you are using here, but I do believe it is wrong.
If I remember correctly there were some LA policemen charged in the Rodney King beating and instead of having the trial in LA they moved it to the elite suburbs. (can't remember what they were called)
Also if I am not mistaken the OJ trial was moved to LA not in the elite area where the crime occured.

>> She said the affair began November 20 and that Peterson had told her at the time that he was single. <<
"At the time." So when did she learn he was married to a living woman? Nov. 21? If she learned any time between Nov. 21 and Dec. 23 that Scott had a living wife it opens up a can of worms for her so far as I can tell.

"Will keep checking in here...what time does the trial start Pacific time? From article at Posting #15 : They include whether to release to attorneys the recordings of Peterson's telephone calls and whether to keep autopsy reports and arrest warrant documents from the public. The hearing is to begin at 8:30 a.m.
