Possibly, but I doubt it. Info spills out about raising the level sometimes prior to it happening IIRC.

Fox and CNN both say we are going to high alert status and I doubt we will be surprised with a red alert.

If we are though, it is deadly serious folks...

I think CNN may be jumping the gun. (Surprise, surprise, surprise. Color me oh-so-shocked.) The Department of Homeland Security (http://www.dhs.gov/dhspublic/) hasn't changed the threat level yet.

I'm supposing that there's *talk* of changing it, but it hasn't happened yet. All the same, thanks for the heads-up. We'll be watching.

(Now the $64 question is this: do we "go about our regular business" in the same way under an Orange Alert as we do a Yellow Alert? Inquiring minds just gotta know!)

I hope your right but what prompted the thought at all is the use of the word "imminent" being tossed around in Saudi Arabia.

Are they using the word "imminent" in the U.S. or just Saudi? If they are using the word "imminent" here in the States wouldn't the level then be raised to "Red".

Suspicious Package Suspends Service At Penn Station

NEW YORK -- A suspicious package has stopped all rail service into and out of Penn Station.

Service is suspended on all LIRR, NJ Transit, and Amtrak trains while police investigate.
