Tell me about it. Every dress that the First Lady has worn in the last year and a half has had a bow on it, and they are very unflattering. Like I said on the live dinner thread, she should save the bows for when her daughters give her granddaughters. I cannot think of one way that a bow could look cute or beautiful on a mature woman.

I think the First Lady should be wearing a dress similar to what Susan Graham had on. I think it would look great on Mrs. Bush.

Agree on the bow thingy....

That Susan Graham dress....now THAT'S a dress!!!!

But I don't think Mrs Bush would EVER wear anything that revealing....not her style....but, the bows have gotta go!

Gracious ... it all looks fine to me. I'll bet if W. himself wore that gold dress, with the lime green sash to boot, you wouldn't be complaining half as much <grin>.

I couldn't agree more. Her designer needs to talk to us - we'll set him/her straight, huh? We know what looks good on her, and this sure doesn't. AND - she's a Winter - and while Gold can be worn by 'most' Winters, not this one. She looks soooooo much better in crayon colors - think of her in red, blue, green, purple - any of the pure Crayola colors, and she looks like a knockout.

Ohhhh, why didn't they consult with us?

Dear First Lady, please dump the designer who puts bows on your gowns and find a grownup designer, please?
