President Bush and First Lady Laura welcomed Philippines President Glora Macapagal-Arroyo and her husband, First Gentleman Jose Miguel T. Arroyo to the White House today for a rare but official state visit. The President and Arroyo held a joint press conference today and addressed the war on terror as well as the prospects for peace in the Middle East. This evening, the First Couple hosted a state dinner honoring the visiting President Arroyo. Also announced today, White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer will be leaving his post later this year. We'll miss you, Ari! Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

I can't sign off tonight without saying "Thank You!" to someone I consider the best White House Press Secretary I have ever seen handle the always hostile White House Press Corp
"Thank You Ari!, Best of luck to you and your Wife"

I wonder if there is a tactful way that we could let her the the bows have to go.
The dress sort of reminds me of something that look gorgeous on the rack, but when you get it home it just doesn't do much for you.......I have several like that! It's difficult to get the entire picture in a little tiny fitting room.

I haven't talked to you in ages. How are you?
I don't think they shared a dance. The President made a joke that the Philippine President should be happy to know that his administration is known for going to bed early, and then he and the First Lady left. It was almost 11pm when they left, so I think they went upstairs.

Maybe it reminds him of a gift with a bow? Ha Ha, I don't know, all I know is that I don't like the whole bow thing. She is such a lovely woman, and to be quite honest, she has a great figure, especially for her age. I am quite jealous, ha ha. She could definitely get away with wearing something that could emphasize that.

Go for it!!!! I think she needs some guidance...
I think she just doesn't care all that much for clothes and needs someone to be her stylist. She is so drop dead pretty!! She just needs to guild the lily...so to speak!

It's all in good clean fun though.

LOL!!! Yeah...you have a point!
Most guys would LOVE Susan Grahams dress!!! Not a bow in sight!
To: clevelandrocks
Maybe it's the whole "unwrapping the package" thing that he finds appealing.

Oh I have been good. I lurk around, but usually never post anything because I am always on the run. It was so nice to see pictures of the President and First Lady. I predicted that she would have a bow, hoping that I would be wrong. Oh well, I guess she likes them. What is new with you?
To: rintense
WOW! All those wonderful pictures. Your fingers must be pooped, linking all of these wonderful photos for us.
BTW, the guys in the Revolutionary War garb are the Third Guard, the honor guard that also does the Honor Guard at the Tombs of the Unknown. Thought you'd want to know. They also do the Arlington National Cemetery funerals.

We should all write e-mails to Laura Bush's office and tell her to get rid of the bow! Please! Okay, I love Laura Bush, but some of her clothes are not so lovely.

To: MJY1288
Did I hear Ari make some comment today about how fighting aligators would be an easier job ...
He is definitely good at what he does.
To: AlwaysLurking
Oh no, someone brought up those two words.....flight suit......drool, drool, mind is wandering.......wandering............WAKE UP, okay I am alright now
