President Bush and First Lady Laura welcomed Philippines President Glora Macapagal-Arroyo and her husband, First Gentleman Jose Miguel T. Arroyo to the White House today for a rare but official state visit. The President and Arroyo held a joint press conference today and addressed the war on terror as well as the prospects for peace in the Middle East. This evening, the First Couple hosted a state dinner honoring the visiting President Arroyo. Also announced today, White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer will be leaving his post later this year. We'll miss you, Ari! Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Dittos on the Thanks to Ari! I don't know how he handled them (especially Helen Thomas), but he did a great job.

Maybe just a nice little email saying she's a very beautiful woman, but bows sometimes don't flatter most women. And maybe since she's done the "bow" thing for awhile, she should try something new and different.

I've bought a few of those too. That's what receipts are for.

I think that they should make flight suit posters. I would even regress into those teenage years and hang posters all over my bedroom walls.

Sad to hear that Ari is leaving, guess he couldn't stand anymore of Helen. It is a tough job, and he has done a fantastic job. We will miss you Ari, but know that you will do well in your next life! Enjoy the time with your bride.

Fabulous pictures tonight. So glad the dose is up tonight.

Hey everybody, I could use some prayers for my 14 year old daughter. Had to take her to the ER very late Sunday night with severe abdominal pain. They were not able to figure out what was wrong. Took her to her doctor Monday afternoon and she ordered blood tests and an ultrasound. She's thinking maybe ovarian cysts or endometriosis (I had a complete hysterectomy a year ago due to severe endometriosis). She's in a lot of discomfort and we truly don't know what is wrong yet. I'm very worried that she might need surgery and end up having to have things removed at such a young age.

I know she is safe in God's Hands, but somehow it doesn't keep me from worrying my head off. She's supposed to go on the trip of a lifetime in a little over a month (England, Ireland and Wales) and I would truly hate for her to miss it.

Thanks in advance.

Congrats on your premier in the top 10! I am way late because of ongoing computer problems. You see, I asked my hubby to fix one little thing on the iMac, and he looses all of the programs! So I just took out my frustrations on the vacuum cleaner! :-)

Hey!!!! We love in a flight suit, jeans and cowboy hat, tux, flight suit, Air Force 1 bomber jacket, Camp David jacket, flight suit, hammering at Habitat for Humanity, tux, flight suit.

We love him in anything, frankly. He just doesn't look bad in anything.

Did I remember to mention the flight suit?

It's good to hear that everything is well with you. Pics of the Bushes are always refreshing. I too, was expecting the bows, but hoping they wouldn't appear. Not too much new with me. Schools out for the summer, so I'm just working and playing in the water to keep cool.

LOL Yes he did,

Maybe we could get Rumsfeld to fill in for Ari for a few months, I would give Rumsfeld 1 week and Terry Moran would go back to his former career..... (Drag Queeen),

Helen Thomas would have water thrown on her and she would melt live on C_Span,

David Gregory would commit "Harry Kerry" in mid sentence and.....

Ron Fournier would go back to his old job in the White House Press Corp only to become Donald Rumsfeld's B*tch :-)
