A tolkein fan, but also a fan of action when words become useless.
Most of the people we argue against here on FR are either Wormtongues or Sarumans. They say pretty things in a pretty way that make no sense for the purpose of obscuring the thought of the rest of us. We need to stop bandying crooked words with them and simply kick their a$$es out of the court.

I can only use words as I am unable to get to many rallies or other freeps. But I do go when I can and I write to my congress critters and senators. I'm not in Texas, I'm in Maryland (Land of the
!@$%#& librals) I try not to use words to confuse other freepers or to take away thier arguments. I might seem silly a lot but I'm able to become serious real quick. I try not to bandy crooked words aruond. Like I said I would be more active if I could but I have no car and my means of public transportation is limited. So I hope you don't think I am not serious about my love for my counrty or of my support of the troops or of the President. as well as fellow Americans.

Words are one of our active tools. We can't march into congress and force Sen. Arlen Spectre to the ground like Gandalf did to Wormtongue in Theodin's hall.
My comment had to do with getting into stupid debates like whether it is OK for gays to have sex in the privacy of their own homes when that is not now and has never been the issue. It also has to do with those who only post on FR and don't FReep, or write congresscritters, or anything else.
I suspect my comment didn't have anything to do with you.
