There was a large tornado in Texas a number of years ago that was so strong that it actually pulled pipes from the foundations and also blew away the sidewalks, could you imagine the wind it would take to blow away a sidewalk. There wasnt even any debris left over, just empty cement slabs.Didn't you witness this?

Holy moly......
I have never seen a hook echo this large and the storm is just MASSIVE.....THIS IS BEYOND INCREDIBLE. I am saving this radar image. I can't even keep count of the absolutely astonishing number of counties this supercell storm covers. This is just mind-boggling.
Oh my....

They are talking it could go into south Tulsa if it holds together. Large circulation and it is showing 7-8 tornadoes in the circulation. It seems to be traveling the turnpike. Going 25 mph.

My son drove through Jarrell going from our house in Midland TX to Huntsville TX. He was a hour or so ahead of that storm. We had just moved a few months before from a town right next to Jarrell.
An F-5 hit Lubbock TX about 15 years ago. We lived in Littlefield about 35 miles west of Lubbock (not at the time of the F-5 though) and we never actually had one hit Littlefield, but there were constant threats and violent thunderstorms, hail blowing out car windows and such. It was horrible just always being under tornado watches and hunkering down and waiting. The sounds of those storms were terrifying. Hate it.

I sat here and watched the May 1999 Moore tornado and I don't remember it being this big.
Tornado emergency for Lincoln County.
Putnam City West High School has a lot of roof damage.

No, I saw video on the News about it, but the video confirmed this. Nothing but empty cement slabs, even pipes were ripped out of the cement.

Sorry...can't help you...I'm "behind enemy lines" here in West Los Angeles.
I know how dangerous these storms are...and am reliving many spring/summer evenings watching
Gary England on TV 9 in OKC...telling us to head for cover!

Didn't you witness this? Yes, I had just joined my local amateur radio club and had storm watch training. It was the first place I went.
