simply tap the table with three fingers------"I do this when I'm in a Chinese resturant or at a Dim Sum place. You should see the expressions on the faces of the waiter/tresses when this comes from a Caucasion!!
Normally you would say thank you, but when there is conversation or eating going on, it is a handy way of saying thanks, and the server appreciates it.
