A day in the life of President Bush (photos) 5/5/03

President Bush headed to Little Rock, Arkansas and spoke to a crowd regarding the economy and once again called on Congress to pass his tax cut plan. Bush also participated in a roundtable of small business owners and their employees. In the morning, the President called President Sezer of Turkey to extend his condolences to the President for the men, women and children who were injured and killed in the recent earthquake. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Now the second one, you're tempting us! That was a day of fanning oneself in front of an open freezer, wasn't it? Whew! A memorable swagger for sure.

LOL! I was wondering if it was Barney getting that stern look from W! It was! Priceless picture! Thanks RWP!

Thanks, mtngrl. I didn't know it was just in O'Reilly's lifetime. To tell the truth, I don't know why anybody thinks F.D.R. was such a great speaker. It was WARTIME and people were absolutely glued to their radios. But Truman seemed to capture the imagination of the regular people. "Give 'em hell, Harry" was a resounding phrase in those days.

I think all their gear is designed just for that purpose. They also teach them how to exude confidence and machismo in flight school:-)

Because he's a mental case and has no other life! I mean look at him...all he does is fly around the world giving speeches and if people stop listening to him, then what will he do? Perhaps some medication might help...

I wish the President would be as real and hilarious when he is speaking to the nation as he is in front of a crowd. He is so charasmatic, until he gives a national, scripted speech.
To: Kath
Well, I don't want it to go any higher but both O'Reilly and Carlson were suggesting that the bond between W and the American people is so strong, that he can withstand that at the ballot box.

And yet, when I see him do a speech and then go back and read a transcript, I really notice how he brought sometimes dry material to much better life than it has on paper. But I agree. Maybe he should practice less.

I've still got the muscular Uncle Sam Bush as mine! But maybe, just maybe...... I am not sure which picture you are talking about here, and it sounds like it's not to be missed! Can you post it here for us? Pretty please?
To: I'm ALL Right!
The President is alway much better unscripted. How can we ever forget that unscripted moment at ground zero. That was classic Dubya!!

You've got it right! I cringe every time he give speech without live audience, especially the ones from Oval Office and other designated WH rooms.
