The location of Orion or some other system 11000 years ago marks the beginning of a very long astronomical period. Anchor watt ant the giza pyramids and possibly the Sphinx point to an alignment on the horizon marking the beginning of this very long cycle.

Of interest to me would be the lattitude and longitude of these Italian pyramids. There is thought that such monuments are geodesic in nature as well.
