There was another way to march to school at Chanute? We rented a car at Rent-a-Wreck just off base to go to Champagne one Friday. Got lost trying to get back driving through all the grid squared cornfields. Finally got back about two hours after curfew - SP at the gate just laughed at our story and let us in.
