We are planning to change our Friday Night Rally to Sunday Afternoon. There is suppose to be a rally for the sailors returning to Lemoore Naval Air Station. Mama_Bear and jkphoto are planning to attend as are Jim, Sheila and Chris. We are excited about getting the opportunity to say thank you to our Troops.

Still trying to talk Mrs.dd into taking a nice drive in our new car to Lemoore.

Any details yet on whether the rally will be on base or off and time?

Am reminded of a True Story about my first Valentine's Day with hubby.
Married 4 months, the boys and I had joined him in South Dakota on Christmas Eve, and I had just realized I was expecting our daughter. I was in considerable misery with morning/afternoon/night nausea.

He arrived home from duty fully equipped with a beautiful red rose, a chocolate cake ( his favorite!), and a huge box of chocolates!! LOL

Needless to say, he and the boys enjoyed the loot while I laid on the couch, twirling the rose in my hands..:))

It is almost impossible to get on base. If you have a military ID card you can get on and maybe take 3 or 4 people with you.
The rally announced in the Fresno Bee was for downtown at a Chevrolet dealership for 11:00 until 2:00. I haven't talked to Jim about an ID card. The welcome home on base is Saturday. I'm not sure of the time. The pilots are coming home today.
Sure hope you and Mrs DD can make it to Lemoore on Sunday. It should be lots of fun.
