It is almost impossible to get on base. If you have a military ID card you can get on and maybe take 3 or 4 people with you.
The rally announced in the Fresno Bee was for downtown at a Chevrolet dealership for 11:00 until 2:00. I haven't talked to Jim about an ID card. The welcome home on base is Saturday. I'm not sure of the time. The pilots are coming home today.
Sure hope you and Mrs DD can make it to Lemoore on Sunday. It should be lots of fun.

Speaking of Chevy dealerships, The one up here, American Chevrolet, has an employee in the Guard who was called up to active duty. The owner, is continuing to pay his salary and will continue until he returns according to an article last month in the Modesto Bee.

The Bee then questioned other businesses (Gallo, Foster Farms, etc.) on their policies. A lot of them are continuing to pay their employees. They are adding to the Guard pay so that their gross pay from the two sources equals their previous salaries.
