Are you not proud that you state will give the President 31 electoral votes in 2004? Keep in mind that if New York goes for Bush, then so will Connecticut and New Jersey. I still have hope for Massachusetts and Rhode Island, being that Bush lost those states by the same margin and is now leading in one of them by 12 points.
Thanks for the perspective - I will sleep much better tonight.

3. Do you approve or disapprove of the way Hillary Rodham Clinton is handling her job as United States Senator? Total: 52 percent approve. 35 pecent disapprove.
Question 3a: Do you even really know what her job entails, and what she has actually done? Do you even know how she voted on the issues?

It is sad that so many idiots live in NY State.

I didn't say she would be viable, just in the game. She'll try her best to win the nomination it's her life's dream to be President "again"

Illbay, every 'poll' done in New York ask ONLY select people in a pre-determined area.
Guess what areas they conduct them in?
Hint: they were blue in the county by county vote result map.
The polls also ask super-vague questions that could mean anything.
To be elected in this stae, they had to cheat as well.
The voting machines here are those stupid lever-matic voting machines.
Guess which voting levers were disabled in 2000?

Well, there's also the fact that vote fraud is a main staple of the Dem party here in this state.
Shenanigans like that have been going on for years.
That, and there are those who claim to be Republican but are RINOs.
New York is one majorly screwed up state.

No. You live in a liberal state. Don't take it personally. There are more 'rats living there than Pubbies. Deal with it.

Yes and no.
Look at the county by county voting results 2000 map.
The counties with the major cities like NYC, Albany, Buffalo and such are all blue.
The rural areas where it's mainly farmland and people who actually honestly have a life outside of the political eye were all red.
It was the cities versus the country.
And the polls are done in the cities, like Ithica.
To break even with Lazio or even gain a lead, the Shrillery needed to pull a dirty.
And tehy did.
There were voting machines that were disabled, Republican levers only.
The paper 'back up' ballots were mysteriously 'lost' in the circular file, meaning tossed into the dumpster.
One of the local news stations saw firsthand such shenanigans, reported that paper backup ballots were being thrown out, then promptly clammed up when they found out it was their side doing it.
This state isn't quite as liberal as some would think.
They got quite animated when the libs in a certain school district wanted to teach third and fourth graders the 'joys' of S&M, bondage, gay&lesbian sex, bestiality, fisting and such.
The schoolboard was promptly forced to stepback from it.
The press bother to report it?
Not on your life.

That's right. Of course it's mostly city folk who thinks she's wonderful, and college folk. I wish she'd disappear down the black hole of calcutta, but I'm afraid she won't. She is one dangerous cookie.

I'll never forget the time I went down to NYC to work with NYSUM, a ministry that reaches out to the homeless. I was walking down a busy street and coming toward me was a handsome young man sporting an expensive leather jacket and carrying a leather bag for his work (I can't remember the name of it==grrr!). Anyway, as we walked by eachother, I noticed he was wearing a woman's slip and boots. It was so incredibly ODD! I live in a small town. You'd never see that here. You're right, people don't care what you wear in the city.

The way the headline is written is wacky. They don't want people to know that GWB beat the hell out of the wench in the poll. n inattentive scan of the headline alone could leave many to believe that the bitch topped GWB instead. Oops! Can I say bitch?
