my comment--on the radio, these words were prefaced by "to the best of my knowledge!"Oh, so maybe someone put 375,000 pounds in his bank account secretly, without his knowledge or by mistake? That explains it, huh?

I wonder if they will find evidence of Scott Ritter's payoffs.

GO TONY, GO TONY!!
One step in the direction we will take when our American Congresscritters get caught.
And you know they will.

Reminds me....with all this money floating to the top, whatever happened to the charge that Don Johnson was caught in Germany with $8 Billion dollars?
Could that have been payment from Saddam for all those anti-war/pro-Saddam Hollywood types?
To: SkyPilot
I wonder if we have and Galloways in the US Congress.

Here's the question: What was Iraq getting for its money? Pretty speeches from George? I really doubt that's what they had in mind, so what else was Galloway in a position to give them?

Just visit this web site:
http://www.casi.org.uk/discuss/2003/date.html The spining and twisting and contortions of the looney anti-sanctions crowd as they try and defend this guy is entertaining, to say the least.
Imagine, people that supposedly care about the Iraqi people supporting someone who supported Saddam and was being bribed by him.
These people give new meaning to "the enemey of my enemy is my friend."
Their hatred of America knows no bounds.
(Sarcasm ON)
He didn't do it! You must know that. He is being set up by the evil Bush/Blair conspiracy.
The documents were planted.
Part of an elaborate scheme to go after one of the world's most compassionate people.
(Sarcasm off)

Yes, I eagerly await MadIvan's turn of phrase here. Please let it include the words "Scott Ritter too."

This guy looks like the old actor, Adolph Menjou.

Then there are the most subjective of all. Even as keen as America's income tax authorities - the IRS, are British tax persons. Even in that questionable but popular soap opera cum real life T/V series- Coronation Street, they are shown as shrewd and impersonal. Absolutely relentless.
If Tony cannot get 'im one way he surely can do an Al Capone caper. INCOME TAX EVASION. Oh by the way, if that is what good living does to a 48 year old- whoa, he looks 60.

Galloway is headed to the Gallows.

With this type of money, he could buy a Burger King, stock it with pubescent girls, and invite Scott Ritter over for a trolling good time.

Looks like we're finding out a lot of dirty little secrets about some of those opposed to the war in Iraq.
This stinks.
On the other hand Blair has come out of all this smelling like a rose.
