Fantastic picture! Thanks for posting it - be assured
I will keep it with all my important possessions.
Truly a great picture - do you know who painted it?
Even with my glasses I can't make out the name.

Personally I've never heard of him before.

Much much better than all the photos the left posts of the President with a hitler moustache.
Looks great.

Nice picture, and I like Bush and all, but I don't think he's ready to join the four on Rushmore yet, if that's the implication of the painting.
JMHO.

I see it as he stands in the shadow of Mount Rushmore, proudly and with resolve to live up to that high standard in these trying times. I know this kind of person, he believes in the power of prayer and it moves him. He is truly humbled by the awesome responsibility laid before him, and the only possible way he can shoulder it is to call upon his 'higher power'. I see no evidence of monumental pride in Mr Bush, but I can see where a painter might want to integrate Mr Bush into this scenery. History will judge this president in a very positive light, and Im certain that Im purposely understating that case.
These are the times that try mens souls, and greatness is born amongst the tribulation and strife. God bless the President of the United States.

It does not show the whole picture - the original showed a full view, Bush is urinating on Saddam's grave...

I'd like this painting a lot more without the background clutter. Just a typical dark portrait washout would have been nice. The Mt. Rushmore reliefs are rather distracting, are poorly done, and don't add anything except a sappy message. And move the little white dot on his left eye (your right) a bit to the right; he looks just a tiny bit cross-eyed. Otherwise, I love it!

She never looked like that in her life! I dunno. Portraits are always more flattering than real-life photography. But that's more or less the look she had during the first term.

But that's more or less the look she had during the first term.More "less" than "more". She would have to lose about 70 pounds to look that slim.

She would have to lose about 70 pounds to look that slim. Even back in the first term? I was going by the hair-style and dating it back to then. Didn't she start to widen out while in the White House?
It's not something I ever really wanted to keep up with...

Excellent picture! I wonder if this was the picture W commissioned from the artist? It said on Babailov's page he did a commissioned picture for W...
Babailov is quite a good artist!

It's not something I ever really wanted to keep up with...You're quite right -- we've already expended far too much time and bandwidth contemplating that heathenous wench's likeness and girth.
