I have been beginning to suspect as much. Why didn't they then just invite us in to see for ourselves. They could have remained in power! I don't see how we can just walk away from Syria and the rest of the region. If we don't clean out the hornets nest, we will get stung later.

Any, and every, mediot ought to be able to figure out such things for themselves. I've not for a second thought we could come up with a definitive statement in a month, most of which was spent shooting. Give this a few months before you start believing any of the mediots, arm-chair intellectuals, and others who say differently.
