Interesting live footage on CNN
Posted on 04/12/2003 9:27:32 PM PDT by saquin
CNN reporter Brent Sadler traveling on a road very near Tikrit. The retired military officer in the studio keeps telling him to be careful. I find these live shots very nerve-wracking. It seems rather foolish for a reporter to be doing this, considering that Tikrit is a Saddam stronghold. Just a heads-up in case anyone is interested.

No word about the head-wound.

ABC news reported one of the guys did sustain a head wound. I cannot believe they just cut the connection as they were speeding away!

Still leaves questions, I'm going to wonder now what
happened to the guy with the head wound.

"It appeared like the image that Geraldo...."
Yup! But Geraldo's was corny. This stuff tonight was so exciting!
The camouflage thing looked like a tank.

I think it is cruel to just leave us hanging like that! I'm serious!

It's good for CNN's ratings. I'm giving up and going to bed.

Ratings or not though, leaving us dangling, in my mind, is a
tad irresponsible. But then the whole report was rather
bizzarre. I still can't believe it.

There should be no other way to communicate. Agreed; however, there are too many who are so impressed with themselves, they feel the need to speak to others as if all souls are beneath them (and that is the mark of a self-centered, insecure, dolt). : )
With that, I need to get some shut-eye; it's 4:20 a.m. here. Night all.

It is 4 a.m. here. I'm going to sign off. Guess I'll
find out later today what the end result was.

I had no idea when I started this thread that it would get this dramatic. It was interesting footage to begin with... then it got downright frightening! I thought I was gonna see some people killed on live TV. My heart was in my throat. It's after 4am here on the East Coast and I can't sleep yet.
must calm down... :-P

LOL!! Neither can I. I have FOX on and just click back every now and then to CNN to see if Brent comes back on. CNN is truly depressing! However, their live action is much better than the constant chat by analyst after analyst after analyst on FOX. They never have any action shots!
To: saquin
So. You're to blame.
Thank you :) for starting this.

But the best part of this war happens when we usually sleep. My days and nights are all mixed up now.
