Interesting live footage on CNN
Posted on 04/12/2003 9:27:32 PM PDT by saquin
CNN reporter Brent Sadler traveling on a road very near Tikrit. The retired military officer in the studio keeps telling him to be careful. I find these live shots very nerve-wracking. It seems rather foolish for a reporter to be doing this, considering that Tikrit is a Saddam stronghold. Just a heads-up in case anyone is interested.

as much as i can't stand Communist News Network, Bret Sandler seems to be a brave, professional reporter. Although maybe idiot might be good description as well.

The head wound guy was sitting up and looking around. It's probably just broken glass shards - hope hope

Or did you mean Sadler?

When they return that van to Hertz, they better use the express check-in and scram before they see the busted window.

Of course they are, that's why they are CNN. They went, basically unprotected, looking for people without water and of course looters and look what happened. Yeah, and as far as I understand, they trusted and believed a Tikrit teacher they didn't know, who said there's no hostile forces within Tikrit.....
To: hmmmmm
the teacher was in the car as they were headed into the city, on the exit run, that was another CNN vehicle.
