Franks says 6 troops listed as "missing" have been found. This appears to have nothing to do with those listed as POWs.

Speicher, any missing left?, 2 US naturalized citizens, 602 Kuwaitis, and an unknown number of Iraqis to go...

We have, reading between the lines, lost one brave soul. Never forget. This was not a "bloodless" victory.

I fear that's a faint hope. I thought at least 5 were dead because of the gang that captured them.I would rejoice over 6 found alive. or 1!

I think the wording Franks used was 6 missing youngsters or kiddos have been rescued. I will assume this is regarding the POWs.

Between the ones that were killed that were shown on Al-Jazeera, and the ones that were found with the Lynch raid, the ones that were shown alive are still listed as POWS. I think there were 4 or 5 that were shown alive. There are 2 apache pilots that were captures. That adds up to either 6 or 7. Hopefully all 7 are alive.

There's a 7th, but we believe at least 6 are alive. This is breaking and we're getting different numbers from different sources.

Let me clarify what I just said a little better. The names that have been found dead and shown dead are not the ones that were shown on tv being alive.
