I truly believed, after finding PFC Lynch, that those soldiers were dead.
I love being wrong.

Geez, we thought we had grief from one 'Al' (Gore), no wonder that country was in turmoil.

Thanks for clearing that up, Cboldt. Of course it changes their designation. Some rules, I think, will change. The war on terrorism is not going to end this decade.
Geraldo was packing, don't you think? Wouldn't you?

I could not let myself believe they could possibly be alive, and have prayed for the impossible. Thank you, Lord.

LOL! Als everywhere. Do you know what Al means in Arabic? I wondered at the Al and El, like French feminine/masculine - la, and le.."a" (as in Al), of course, being feminine. (^;

Another FReeper said this morning that they thought the only reason she wasn't marched north with the rest of her company was that she was phsycally not able to, couldn't be moved on a stretcher..would have slowed them down. I truely feel they were being used as sheilds for the last of the bad guys as they were retreating north with their tails between their legs. We just caught up with them before they made it to Tikrit.

FN: Coalition forces are also looking inside Iraq for 100s of missing Kuwaiti POWs from the Gulf War.

I'm listening to a Gulf War former POW telling of his ordeal. Those animals even checked him to see if he was circumsized!

Did you see the story that, in Saddam's palace, it was discovered that he ate dinner every night on the Kuwait Royal china?
I wish he'd choked.

I like to think that today those people are left wondering what world they were living in....Rummy would call it the "Old World". I just hope they're saying: "Je pense que je suis abusif".
We moved back to the states last summer and the last time I went to France was about a year ago. I just found the people in Alsace friendlier than those in Paris. We saw some real loonies in Paris. More than you would think. What does your French phrase mean? I don't speak French.
