They would still have us pulling 16 pound Napoleans behind a 4-hitch of Belgians. Great way of putting it! Good thing the experts weren't in charge of this war.
Actually, I read in the Wall Street Journal today that the "Rumsfeld" technique is expected to become the new model for fighting forces. Nothing succeeds like success.

The older you get, the tougher it is to lose weight, because by then your body and your fat are really good friends. (^;

I'm worried I'm going to try refreshing my tv when the cable goes wonky
or refreshing my steering when the red light is taking too long
lol, I might even try to refresh the newspaper!

My wife tells the same, she was in Cairo as a child 1965 to 1967. Got kiacked out when the 6 Day war started. When they opened the door of the plane the stench nearly made her sick, then came the drive through the city of the dead to add a little spice. Border to border filth.

couple days ago, I responded to a post in my comments...I sat and refreshed 20 times, started to panic thinking something was wrong...read FN a bit, came back and refreshed again...still nothing
about 10 panicked minutes later I realized I answered a post from day 19....and we were already on day 20.

Inside some of us is a thin person struggling to get out, but they can usually be sedated with a few pieces of chocolate cake.

what's even more frustrating is when you've hit refresh several times, and decided to make a post to yourself, and by the time you've hit the post button, there are 10 new replies :o)

It seems the big loser, other than the obvious Saddam and thugs, of this is Al Jazeera TV. It seems the entire Arab world is p|ssed at them because they lied about the real situation--the actual events leading to fall of Saddam and the Republican Guard.
To: longtermmemmory
