Praise be to God for His mercy to the Iraqi people. It is my hope that they will now be able to experience enough physical freedom to allow them to hear the gospel of freedom in Christ.

That's the one!!! Someone said the Iraqi people are quite intelligent and equipped to govern themselves. Intelligent indeed to recognize the HERO OF PEACE.
I've been wearing a sweater most of the day trying to get a handle on my goosebumps not to mention red puffy eyes having shed tears of pride (for what we've accomplished) and joy (for what's in store for the Iraqis).
Just listening to a fellow say his name is "Boosh" now. He added, "I love this guy, I love this guy, he made us free". (sniff)

Michael Moore is probably hyperventalating and having spasms. It does seem awfully quiet right now doesn't it from the Hollyweird types?

Wow. Did you just see the Iraq ambassador to the UN just now on Fox? He said "The war is over. I have no relationship to Saddam. I hope that the Iraqi people can live in peace."

I saw the Iraqi men carrying the "Human Shields-Go Home You U.S. Wankers" sign..
That is just incredible! I love it! Probably some GIs wrote it for them.

O beautiful for heroes proved In liberating strife.
Who more than self the country loved
And mercy more than life!
America! America!
May God thy gold refine
Till all success be nobleness
And every gain divine!
To: hillsborofox
It's real (although the DUmmies wish it weren't).
To: Bigg Red
Did the banner really say that, or has someone changed the words Oh it most definitely is real. One of the first sites I caught on TV this morning was watching them parading it in the streets of Baghdad. Caught Peter Jennings telling people to look up the word 'wonkers' as he couldn't define it on TV.

've been wearing a sweater most of the day trying to get a handle on my goosebumps not to mention red puffy eyes having shed tears of pride (for what we've accomplished) and joy (for what's in store for the Iraqis). I've been the same way for weeks. It seems I'm always on the verge of tears. Doesn't matter if they're happy or sad, just very weepy. I hear of an act of cruelty by Saddam's regime; I cry. I hear of an act of kindness by our soldiers; I cry. I cried through the statue toppling this morning, I cry when I hear Ray Charles sing *America* . . . I cry I cry I cry.
(And don't you DARE say it's PMS)

Thanks for your post/ping.

I'm sure it will be replayed again and again this evening. Warning -- don't catch the reruns on ABCCBSNBC. Keep your dial tuned to fox and share in the joy.
