A group of al Qaeda terrorists is attempting to infiltrate the United States from Mexico to conduct attacks in the country, The Washington Times has learned.

At least 14 al Qaeda members are said to be in Mexico, said officials who spoke on the condition of anonymity. The al Qaeda members are working with Mexican organized crime groups, such as drug-trafficking organizations, in an attempt to enter the United States covertly, the officials said.

Wasn't the Bush ranch considered a target not too long ago? Honestly, if these terrorists wanted to get into the US, they'd have a better shot coming in through our northern borders with Canada.

That said, put the military on the frickin' borders! The Mexican and Canadian Gov'ts have shown in the past year that they are not friends of ours.

Since our congress won't do anything about the border then I guess it's up to the Texans. It's time for an old fashioned bounty hunting.

Vincente Fox makes dang sure that his southern border is secure. Persons trying to illegally cross into Mexico along it's southern border are SHOT without question.

You got that right.

Lots of us out here in West Texas have license to carry, and the guts to shoot 'em down if need be.

I would not hesitate to put an end to some rag-headed, gutter-snipe, coward that would DARE attack me or mine on this shore...I'd love to have a reason to take one of them down.

You feel froggy arab holes? JUMP!

It is like talking to a wall. We have a major problem and those in DC act like nothing is wrong and that is wrong since they work for the People not for themselves! Something that they best get throught their thick bloated heads.

>>The al Qaeda infiltration from Mexico and bombing threat... including a plot to conduct an attack on President Bush's ranch at Crawford, Texas, the officials said. <<

Perhaps now our President will see the necessity of deploying troops on our borders. What a very simple solution to solving a myriad of problems: (1) thwarting terrorist (2) protecting our sovereignty from the massive tide of illegals crossing daily (3)drying up of illegal drugs.

>>It's sad that we will have to suffer more terrorist attacks in the U.S. because it's politically incorrect to control our borders.<<

I have come to understand 'political correctness' as a hate TOOl used by people and organizations who have a lot to gain economically by duping the rest of us into thinking it's some moral imperative---it's not--it's evil and insidious.

The reason we haven't deployed troops on the border is because someone, either our President or some huge corporation, or both, stands to BENEFIT from leaving them vulnerable and exposed--the hell with the rest of us.

Why are people vilified for suggesting that we uphold the law and ensure the integrity of our borders? Why do they insist that people who are here illegally be rewarded with benefits? Why is there no robust effort to locate and expel people who are here illegally?

Wow--I didn't know. How despicable of 'amigo' V. Fox to suggest, rather, to beg and plead on his little hands and knees, that we leave open our border to his thugs and thieves.

Kinda gives one a real warm and fuzzy feeling knowing that millions of our tax bucks have been squandered to guard Afghanistan's borders, yet we don't have troop 1 on our own in a time of war. What would you call that?

I read that thread--I was astonished to read what I perceived to be some rather venomous comments about O'Reilly's suggestion that we deploy troops on the border.

Problem is that well over 3,000 illegals per day travel into the U.S./Arizona border, while people trying to enter the country legally for business or pleasure are having to wait 2 to 3 hours in long lines at the port of entry. Our government is not in any way interested in protecting the citizens. If you don't believe me take a look at the side of your local police cars, they used to read: "to protect and serve", they now read: "to serve". Protection is neither implied nor garanteed. The Federal government has an constitutional obligation to enforce our immigration laws, and we need to force them to do their job. We should force the Federal government to seal our borders, and be assured that the only sure way to protect your family from criminals is to do it yourself.
